(IMPORTANT) Getting Ready for Our Visit

Get ready for a cleaner and tidier space!

Preparing correctly for your appointment is simple and can help ensure a smooth and effective cleaning process. Here are some simple instructions that will guarantee a great experience:

  • Please clear areas, remove small and personal objects, and vacuum the floors thoroughly.

  • Please ensure there is convenient parking for our van, and if possible, keep the driveway clear.

  • Ensure someone 18 years or older is present in your home or we will not be able to enter.

  • Please move furniture before our cleaning service for safety reasons and insurance limitations. We’ll work around furniture for your convenience if the furniture is not moved prior to our arrival. Thanks for your understanding!

  • For safety, consider securing pets in a designated area during our visit.

  • We reserve the right to charge $150.00 hourly rate for clearing up our working area from furniture/household items and or snow.
  • Payments: 

    Kindly note that payment is required upon completing our services and must be collected on-site. Our technician will collect payment in advance if you plan to be away from the property during the cleaning. The same procedure applies to vacant homes.

    We accept all major credit cards, Venmo, and cash. Please note that our technician will only accept checks if a prior arrangement has been made. For businesses with an established account intending to send a check via mail, our designated address for checks is 1055 N State St, Orem, UT 84057.

Please note: Severe weather conditions may affect your appointment date and time. Don’t hesitate to contact the office if severe snow happens or your road is blocked.

Carpet Cleaning

Before:

  • Vacuum the carpet thoroughly
  • Point out all areas of concern before the Job starts.
  • Please clear areas, remove small and personal objects, and move any furniture you desire to move. We will clean around furniture as a standard procedure.
  • For safety, consider securing pets in a designated area during our visit.
  • Secure a convenient parking spot for our large van and leave the driveway clear for us if possible.

After:

  • After the cleaning, on average, carpets can take 1 hour to 6 hours to dry. Walking on the carpets before they dry can cause stains to wick from the pad and subfloor and new stains to appear.
  • We HIGHLY RECOMMEND to set your thermostat around 70 degrees F and the fan to the ON position instead of AUTO for the first 8 hours after the cleaning. This can drastically reduce drying times.
  • To avoid stains or rust spots, please don’t put any small items, such as floor lamps, tables, chairs, magazine baskets, etc., back on the carpet until after 24 hours. Do not remove any pads or blocks our technicians may have placed under furniture until the carpet is completely dry.
  • Rippling can occur under certain conditions, especially when the carpet is not installed correctly. The adhesive that holds the backing together can absorb moisture and expand. In most cases, this rippling will disappear within 72 hours.

Rescheduling and Cancelation Policy [IMPORTANT]

Rescheduling Policy:

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we strive to accommodate your needs. If you need to reschedule your carpet cleaning appointment with Utah Pros Carpet Cleaning, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time. We will make every effort to find a new suitable time for your cleaning.

Cancellation Policy:

We value your business and appreciate your understanding of the time reserved for your carpet cleaning. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service time may be subject to a cancellation fee of $75. If the technician arrives at the location for the service and can’t complete the service for any reason, a $100 charge will be added to the invoice.
